Dallas, OR June 21, 2011- ProSoundAudioServices has been chosen to announce the 2011 Quarter Midget of America’s Western Grand Nationals June 27th thru July 2nd in Monroe, WA. “We’re anticipating somewhere in the neighborhood of 400 cars, and have already gotten racer pre-entries from Western & Eastern Canada and from Pennsylvania here in the U.S., we are super excited!” said Event Coordinator Kevin Crum.
The Quarter Midget’s of America have three annual Grand National events for its competitor’s one in the West, East, and a Dirt Grand’s. Both the West and East events are on asphalt and are the association’s most prestigious events. For the Washington Quarter Midget Racing Association the timing could not be any better as they finally finished installing & perfecting their new racing facility located just west of the Evergreen Speedway in Monroe, WA. Starting later this week competitors will be arriving and the “Buzz” that only a Grand National can bring will begin.
Official practice for the event kicks off Sunday June 26 @ 9am and will continue through Monday. Qualifying begins Tuesday morning @ 9 am with Racing beginning Wednesday @ 9:30am sharp. It is a very prestigious event and it is “The One” that all quarter midget racers dream of winning. Competition will be fierce and you will see some amazing technology at work in the construction of these racecars. Another amazing thing is for spectators, the price is FREE! That’s right, FREE! ADMISSION for all spectators for the entire event which will conclude Saturday July 2nd. Many different classes of cars and talent will be showcased, with something for everyone from Stock/beginners to well established Modified/Experts.
“This is HUGE for ProSoundAudioServices, most definitively our biggest event of the year” owner and announcer Terry Bridges commented from his headquarters in Dallas, OR “It is an honor and privilege to be chosen for this event, and we are going to give it all we have to make it the best Grand National ever! Not only for the racers, but for all involved in the event, we love and support grassroots motorsports at ALL levels.” The Washington Quarter Midget Association encourages everyone who maybe has been thinking about getting involved or who just love motorsports to come out and enjoy the action. Event coordinator Kevin Crum who has kids of his own competing in the event could barely contain his excitement “It’s almost here and we are SO excited! We have been working and tuning for this event since last year. It’s gonna be AWESOME!”
