N.W. Gold Cup Heads to Mountain High Raceway
After a solid third straight 110 plus entry helmet count at McMinnville Raceway Park (“The Mac Track” as it is also called), the NW Gold Cup Series will make two northern stops before heading east for the season finale. The first of the two stop northern swing will be at Mountain High Raceway in Spanaway, Washington, the oldest and longest standing true “Sprint Kart” racing facility on the tour.
The PSGKA or Puget Sound Go Karting Association will host round four of the six round Series June 29 through July 1, with all day practice on Friday the 29th and NW Gold Cup region 6 regional qualifying and race action Saturday and Sunday. All IKF and Rotax sanctioned classes are on tap, run under the current rule docket for both sanctioning bodies. Nobody has been able to stop the rocket of Phil Arscott who has literally been untouchable so far in the first three rounds of competition, and has no doubt handled the “Heat in the kitchen” aboard his CMC backed and powered rocket ship.
This is where YOU come in. Mountain High Raceway is a TRUE sprint track in every sense of the word. It is a short, tight, twenty-nine to thirty-second rollercoaster with elevation changes both up and down that are sure to have your “You know what’s, you know where”…So load up and come compare YOUR talents IF you dare at one of the last TRUE Sprint tracks in existence against the Northwest’s best.

It is without ‘question’ because none of the ‘Big Dogs’ it seems will come run here…The Northwest’s best travel and dare to compare, now it is YOUR turn…We dare you! The NW Gold Cup IS the toughest Regional series in the nation.

You can get ALL the race event information including lodging accommodations and approved Chevron fuel vendors, as well as save your race team some coin by pre-registering at www.nwgoldcup.com, or you can check the Puget Sound Go Kart Associations Website at www.psgka.com.
