Dallas, OR– The NW Gold Cup Series brings their second round of Regional Touring kart racing action to Boise, ID this coming weekend May 24, 25, 26. Hosted by the Snake River Karters, round two of the series will feature karting’s best NW drivers and race teams on one the sports last remaining TRUE sprint tracks.
The NWGC series is excited to bring the second round of the series to Boise, ID to compete on the unique, one of a kind last true sprint style tracks left in the United States. It’s down hill, tight and twisty off camber turns, and wheel to wheel 19 second lap times, provides close and exciting racing for both fans and drivers alike.
The series will stop in three states and one International country, when it makes its yearly stop at the Greg Moore Raceway in Chilliwack, B.C. in August of this year. Expect to see the best the Northwest has to offer in a host of both 2 & 4 cycle powered divisions, with ages ranging from 5 to 60.
The series also hosts a shifter kart division, which features 125cc powered machines complete with gearboxes that will reach speeds of 70 plus miles an hour, and are a must see. The old school track demands quick reflexes, pinpoint accuracy and a disciplined mind to survive.
Wheel to wheel action is not only plentiful, but almost guaranteed in both the two and four cycle divisions. It’s blend of history & nostalgia meeting modern day technology make the racing unique and fiercely competitive and is not just your normal modern day regional karting event.
Not for the faint of heart…it is ALL WAY, ALL DAY racing action from start to finish. The track tests a driver’s true “Up on the wheel” capabilites.
